Find out how the workplace wellness program at University System of New Hampshire (USNH) had a positive effect on the health and wellbeing of an employee and his family.

Developed in conjunction with Harvard Pilgrim, the program helped earn USNH a Gold Workplace Wellness Award from the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA). The Gold Award specifically recognizes organizations developing comprehensive programs producing results.

“Long before it was the ‘thing to do’ USNH intrinsically knew that assisting people with making healthy lifestyle choices would enhance individual health,” says Nancy Puglisi, USNH Director of Organizational Wellness, about the award. “Healthier people do not access health care as frequently and thereby keep health care costs down. More importantly, individuals maintain their health, limit undo suffering and enjoy a better quality of life.”
