SaveOn helps you lower health care costs without changing your benefits or shifting costs over to your employees. And it rewards your employees with a check when they make smart, cost-efficient decisions about their health care providers.
Here’s how it works:
A member calls SaveOn when their doctor recommends a routine outpatient test or procedure, like lab work or an MRI.
A SaveOn nurse will compare the cost of health care providers near the member’s home or work, and let the member know if there’s a lower-cost Harvard Pilgrim provider available in the area. The SaveOn team can reschedule the existing appointment and help with any necessary paperwork.
When a member chooses one of the lower-cost providers, they’re rewarded with a check of up to $75, depending on the service and the associated cost savings. The incentive check is mailed to them after the claim is processed.
If it turns out the patient is already scheduled to receive services from the lowest cost provider, SaveOn rewards the member $10 just for making the phone call.
It’s that simple. With one phone call, members can find the quality, lower-cost provider that’s right for them and earn a reward in the process.
